Hello! We're excited to be back from CHA. The show in Anaheim this year was so much fun. We loved seeing so many of you that stopped by our booth.

Fo those of you unable to attend we shot some photos of the booth just for you. we had planned to share these on the blog during our visit but unfortunately our hotel has a little problem with their router and we were without internet all week long...Boo to that! So today we're making up for lost time.

Cards Monday and some CHA fun!

It's Day 2 of the CHA Winter trade show and we are having fun seeing all our friends and customers. We were thrilled to see the girls fom Creating Keepsakes come by the booth, Pam Baird, Editor in Chief of Northridge Publishing, The Paper Crafts Go-to-Gals and many of our customers who carry our products in their stores.

We'll be sharing some pics from CHA later this week but today we have some card inspiration for you from our design team.

Welcome

Card#1 has some jute sewn over the clothes line, some photo corners and the "punny" title.   The paper is All Things Beautiful - 11524 and the letter stickers are Mermaid - 08428.  Easy peasy right?

Bloom where you're planted

Card #2 Features color blocking using Just Add Water - 11523, Seed Packets - 11527, Lovely Lady 11525 and the sticker sheet - 11529.  I added some buttons, and the rub-on sentiment and called it good.

Let's Hang Out

Card #3 uses Seed Packets - 11527, the sticker sheet - 11529, and parts of the 3D Roll up Flower sheet - 11521.  The fence has been stamped and pop dotted for dimension.  Some more photo corners and machine stitching and you can call it a day!

Card #4 uses Grown With Love - 11526, and Seed Packets - 11527 as well as the sticker sheet - 11529 and Snowflakes - 10117 glitter alphabet stickers.  Are we done yet??

Card #5 uses Little Miss Sunshine -11522, Seed Packets - 11527 and the sticker sheet - 11529.  The flowers have been pop dotted, and the leaves are made from the banners on the 3D roll up flowers sheet - 11521.  The sentiment was cut with the Cricut - Beyond Birthday's cartridge.  Done and done!




Card #6 uses All Things Beautiful - 11524, Seed Packets - 11527 and stickers - 11529 which have again been pop dotted.  Bubblegum glitter alphabet stickers, a found heart, and some machine stitching and Bob's your uncle!

 

These cards were very inspiring. There is nothing better to do with your scraps than create card and we hope you're inspired to create some cards with your scrap stash.

Project Friday

Hello MLS fans! It's project Friday and time for the girls to bring you some more fun inspiration! Today we have some fun designs to share with you from Ilene and Pattie.

First we're sharing a fun project from Ilene that she created with our Trick or Treat collection. Many of us have put away all our Halloween decor and papers so make sure you book mark this post for your next Halloween project.

 

Project: Boo Frame

Other: ribbon, self-adhesive pearls, crackle medium, acrylic paint

Notes: I bought this (handmade?) wooden sign for 50 cents at a school sale, and then painted the frame orange. After that dried, I covered it with crackle medium and painted over it in black, to give it this really cool effect. I then covered the inside with the adorable paper and added my decorations, as well as crackle medium over the graveyard post and the pumpkin's hat. I also added the half pearls for the pumpkin's eyes - that was my daughter's favorite part!
